Merredin College in partnership with CRTAFE hosted  Students from Merredin College, Kellerberrin, Narembeen and Mukinbudin for The Try-A-Tarde program is funded by the Construction Training Fund and gives students a chance to try various construction trades.

Over 3 days each student had a ‘taste’ of Engineering, Construction, and Carpentry, getting hands-on experience and learning what is involved in each of the 3 trades. The program helps students make more informed decisions about their future career pathways and hopefully encourages students to consider a career in the Trades sector.
