This formal event is coordinated for family, friends and staff at Merredin College to celebrate our Year 12 students’ and as well as their excellence in academic achievement, sport and citizenship. 2024 HONOUR AWARDS

At this event we recognise the previous year’s ATAR and VET Dux’s, as ATAR results are released in late December.

2024 ATAR Dux was awarded to Chloe Carlson
Chloe demonstrated focus, energy and quiet determination, achieving an outstanding ATAR of 99.95%.

2024 VET Dux was awarded to Charlotte Grant
Charlotte completed a Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies, and a Certificate II in Workplace Skills across Years 11 and 12, while maintaining high achievement across WACE courses and by using her Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies is currently enrolled at Notre Dame University studying a Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery.

Les Last Scholarship 2025
2025 Les Last Scholarship was awarded to Chloe Carlson
Mr Les Last (1922–2017) was a proud Merredin local and generous community supporter. The Les Last Scholarship is his lasting legacy, backing future generations of Merredin students.
