Pre-primary Classroom
The Pre-primary room has been a hive of activity this term with every student reaching their own learning goals. We have enjoyed learning new letter sounds and having a go at writing simple sentences. We loved writing about emus for NAIDOC Week and we are looking forward our Edward the Emu excursion in week 6.
Do you hear that noise? It is the sound of a tractor humming away in our home corner area. We have been enjoying our farm theme and take turns to drive in our tractor while learning some new sight words each day.
We are wonderful at cutting out our own work now. We take our time to cut around curved lines carefully and we are proud of how far we have come since the beginning of the year!
Have you heard us count? We try to count to 100 during our numeracy warm-up every day. Some of us can even count to 150 orally! We have also been learning about patterns and measuring the weight of different objects in mathematics.
