On Tuesday, 16th December the Merredin College Primary students held the end of year MerryDin Concert. This years theme was At the Disco! Everyone put on their best disco shoes and danced their hearts out during each performance. Congratulations to everyone for a great year all round.

The Academic Achievement that highlights the student that has performed at the highest academic level in each class or the student that has shown the most endeavour in their academics. Student’s who receive this award have shown our REAP dispositions – Resourceful, Engaged, Ambitious and Persistent.

The PBS Award goes to the student who has demonstrated our PBS values. They have been a caring member of their class who treats others with respect, and the environment and have been responsible in all their endeavours.

We also have special awards that highlight our students who have done exceptionally well in Visual Art, Dance, Sportsmanship, LOTE – Indonesian, Science and Technology.

Our final award of the night is a scholarship provided by the State Teachers Union of WA. This scholarship is presented to a student who has demonstrated all of our learning dispositions – resourcefulness, engagement, ambition and persistence. This scholarship provides the recipient with their booklist for 2026.
