Congratulations to Georgina Squire!

Georgina was the winner of a competition she entered at the recent Get into Resources Expo. Four hundred students entered the competition and 3 students were selected as winners. Georgina had to answer a series of questions finding the answers by talking to representatives from different resource companies and from information given in various presentations.

Georgina, a friend and a staff member will be flown by Sandfire Resources to its DeGrussa Copper Mine site north of Meekatharra.

Following a site induction and morning tea the group will be have a 2 ½ hour tour of the DeGrussa mine site followed by lunch. The group will then fly via Kalgoorlie back to Perth. This is such a great opportunity to experience a remote mine site and get an insight into the many career opportunities the resources industry offers. Once again, congratulations to Georgina.
